One inch from the end of the spiral of time below,
humans appear in our records of Earth and sky.
Within that appearance,
the child whose birth we celebrate as Christmas was born,
when the time was right.
Now two thousand years later,
we are still learning to work out the what and the why
of the mystery of human and Christ child appearance within Earth’s life.
As you celebrate this season, give some time to reflect on the Universe –
the one stretching and expanding far beyond us and beyond what we know
